Mr. Melendez attempted to file a motion for extension of time on the due date, however, the motion did not comply with the Court's efiling rules and was rejected. After speaking with Mr. Melendez, he expressed to the Court that the change of the efiling rules was a waste of litigant's time and money. He did state he will comply with the efiling rules and get us a proper motion as soon as possible. Mr. Melendez also stated that the parties are close to settlement.
